On your arrival day, Aqua Palms Studio A210 will be available from 3:30 p.m. as standard. Please arrange an exact time for the key handover with us at least two days prior to your arrival. 

If you are using our shuttle service from the airport, we will need your airline, flight number and scheduled landing time. In this case, you will meet our guest relations manager at the airport. Otherwise, he will be waiting for you at the reception desk of the Aqua Palms Resort.

Our employee will accompany you to the studio, give you a briefing and be available to answer any questions you may have.

If you have not already provided us with the required deposit of EUR 150.00 by bank transfer or credit card reservation, we ask you to provide him with the amount in cash at check-in (alternatively, the same value in USD or LE). The deposit serves as security for any damage or defects that may occur within your area of responsibility. If everything is in order when you return your keys before departure, your full deposit will be refunded in the same manner.

Please note our house rules. These, together with our general terms and conditions, are binding for you and your fellow travellers upon booking.

It is particularly important to us that everyone interacts respectfully with all residents in accordance with the cultural customs of the country and that nature is treated responsibly. We have taken all possible measures to ensure this at Aqua Palms Studio A210. We do not provide single-use plastics and ask you to be sustainable with resources for the sake of the environment. Please do not leave the air conditioning running when you leave the rooms and dispose of your rubbish only in the bins provided.

We kindly ask you to note that smoking is strictly prohibited in Aqua Palms Studio A210. Please only use the outdoor areas for this purpose and ensure that smoke does not enter the apartment at no time.

We want you to have as little to worry about as possible during your vacation so that you can focus on relaxing. We have made provisions for this and offer a range of inclusive services at our accommodations.

Tap water in Egypt is not safe to drink and is also not suitable for everyday tasks such as brushing your teeth. We provide you with a water dispenser with drinking water. Because drinking is especially important in hot Egypt! If the initial supply of water runs out, you can get a replacement at the supermarket at the compound entrance.

We have installed a water filter for washing food and cooking, which you can use to wash things like salad or fruit directly in the sink without having to get water from the dispenser. We have also equipped the kitchen with common spices, salt, pepper and sugar.

In addition, a starter supply of toilet paper, washing-up liquid and cleaning products for cleaning the villa during your stay will be provided upon your arrival. If you do not wish to clean the villa during your stay, apart from the final cleaning which we carry out anyway, we recommend our cleaning service, which you can conveniently book together with your stay.

We are happy to use our connections and, in cooperation with our partners, offer you additional services that will make your holiday perfect. Let yourself be inspired!

Shopping service:

Would you like to arrive at your holiday home and find the fridge stocked? Our local service partner will deliver your desired goods directly to the studio, right on time for your arrival.

You can send us your shopping list via e-mail. Our service partner will endeavour to obtain all the products on the list. Please limit your order to food and beverages as well as other everyday household products.

For the shopping service, our partner charges a service fee of EUR 10.00 for purchases up to the equivalent of EUR 50.00, and 20% of the value of goods above that amount. Payment for the goods is made in cash upon delivery. The service can be booked via our online booking form.

For shopping during your stay, we recommend the small supermarket in the entrance area of the Aqua Palms Resort. Sherif, the owner, will anticipate every wish and is happy to grant any special requests.

Cleaning services:

We can also take care of cleaning the studio during your stay. For just EUR 28.00, you can book our cleaning team for in-between cleaning as well. Furthermore, you can have your bed linen and towels changed for EUR 19.00. If you would like to book both services together on the same day, we offer this for a total of EUR 40.00.

Appointments for cleaning and/or linen changes are made in consultation with our guest relations manager. If possible, please book these additional services prior to the start of your trip by using our online booking form or give us sufficient advance notice during your stay.

Food and drink:

The pool bar at Aqua Palms Resort offers all kinds of drinks and even an impressive menu from the "Flaming Grill", all served up in the holiday atmosphere of the resort.

Activities and excursions:

We would be happy to put together a personalised package for you with activities and excursions in Hurghada and far beyond. Please refer to "Hurghada and more" for more information and do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

Please vacate Aqua Palms Studio A210 by 12 noon on your departure day. You will meet our staff again to hand over the keys. If you wish to leave earlier, please let us know. Please allow sufficient time for us to complete the handover process. If you have booked our shuttle service, it will take you to the airport afterwards.

Please schedule at least two, preferably three hours for your airport check-in, as Hurghada Airport usually places great emphasis on security and conducts numerous checks. Especially during peak times and on major travel days (especially Thursdays and Saturdays), there may be some delays during check-in!

Overnight stay near the airport:

Is your flight leaving early in the morning so that you need to travel the day before? Or are you returning so late that traveling home no longer makes sense? No problem. Numerous hotels near the airport offer attractive deals in this case: many offer the option of leaving your car in the hotel parking garage during your trip. After an overnight stay at the hotel, some also offer a shuttle service from the hotel to the airport. Please ask the respective hotels whether one or more of the services mentioned are also available there. Hotel bookings are possible via the following portals:

Upon request, we can arrange an individual shuttle service for your transfer to or from the airport. You can add this when booking your accommodation here on the website for a price of only EUR 36.00. The service includes a personal pick-up at the airport with a name sign as well as transport from there to the studio. On the day of departure, you will be picked up in good time and taken back to the airport.

Alternatively, only the pick-up from Hurghada Airport (arrival trip) or only the return trip to Hurghada Airport (departure trip) can be booked for EUR 20.00 each.

If you do not wish to use our individual service, you can of course also take one of the many taxis in front of the arrivals terminal or have one ordered to the studio (see also "Local Transportation").

Do you want to be mobile in Hurghada yourself? For this you need an International Driving Permit and a bit of nerve! Traffic on Hurghada’s roads is challenging, but it’s not rocket science either.

If you are looking for a rental car for the duration of your stay, we recommend booking it from home in advance. The regulations – especially with regard to vehicle insurance – cannot be compared with the usual procedures in Europe. That’s why the rule always is: be sure to read the fine print, too!

If you don’t feel confident driving in Hurghada yourself or only want to get around from time to time, there are various options:

Taxis:

In and around Hurghada there are numerous taxi companies offering their services. The best known among them is certainly ABC Taxi (orange and dark-blue cars). After making a reservation by phone, your taxi will be available in no time.

Uber:

The convenient Uber service also works excellently in Hurghada. So if you register for the service and download the app, you can also order your ride via smartphone.

Public transportation:

Locals travel on the many minibuses, which run on fixed routes but do not stop at designated stops. You can simply flag these buses down with a hand signal along the route. Riding the local minibuses is certainly the cheapest way to get from A to B in Hurghada – however, due to the fairly high passenger volume, it is not necessarily the most comfortable.
